Voraelia
Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 September 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you access voraelia.com or purchase products from the Voraelia online store. Please read them before placing an order. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
1. About the store
Voraelia sells personalized jewelry and related gift products through this online store. The store is hosted by Shopify, which provides ecommerce technology and checkout services.
2. Using the website
You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, scrape or exploit the site in a way that is unlawful, or use our content in violation of intellectual property rights.
3. Product information
We aim to describe and photograph products accurately. Screen settings, lighting and photography can affect how colors and finishes appear. Measurements are approximate unless stated otherwise.
For personalized products, the details you submit — including initials, names, birthstone choices, messages and symbols — are used to produce your order. Please check all personalization information carefully before ordering.
Any digital preview or on-screen representation is intended to help you visualize the design. Small differences in positioning, spacing, engraving appearance or presentation may occur as part of the physical production process. This does not affect your rights where an item is faulty, materially different from what was ordered, or otherwise not as described.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency presented to you on the store. The total payable amount, including any applicable shipping charge, will be shown before you submit your order. Taxes or import charges will be handled as described at checkout and in our Shipping Policy.
Payment is processed through the payment methods made available at checkout. We may correct obvious pricing or listing errors. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you and, where appropriate, offer the choice of proceeding on the corrected basis or receiving a cancellation and refund.
5. Placing an order and contract formation
Before submitting an order, you will have an opportunity to review your cart and order information. Your submission of an order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we accept your order, normally by sending an order confirmation or otherwise confirming acceptance.
We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, for example because payment is not authorized, required information is missing, an item is unavailable, we identify suspected fraud or misuse, there is an obvious pricing or listing error, or we are unable to fulfill the requested personalization. If we cancel after taking payment, we will refund the amount due.
6. Personalized and made-to-order products
Many Voraelia products are made or altered to your specification. Under UK consumer law, the usual statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days may not apply to goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.
If you contact us before production or personalization begins, we may be able to cancel or amend an order, but this cannot be guaranteed. Once work has begun, cancellation or changes may not be possible. This does not affect your rights if goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements. Please see our Returns & Personalized Orders policy.
7. Production and delivery
Personalized orders normally require preparation before dispatch. Current preparation and delivery information is set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree a specific guaranteed date.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. If a delivery problem is caused by incorrect information supplied by you, additional delivery costs may apply where lawful and reasonable.
We remain responsible for the goods until they are delivered to you or to a person you have identified to receive them, subject to applicable consumer law.
8. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms. If an item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect, or materially not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your order details and, where helpful, photographs of the issue. We will handle the matter in accordance with applicable consumer law and our returns policy.
9. Returns and refunds
Eligibility for returns, cancellations and refunds is explained in our Returns & Personalized Orders policy. Any policy term is subject to rights you have under applicable law.
10. Promotions and discount codes
Promotions or discount codes may be subject to specific conditions stated with the offer. Unless we say otherwise, they have no cash value, cannot be applied retrospectively, and may be withdrawn or corrected where an offer was published in error. We will not use a promotion to override mandatory consumer rights.
11. Intellectual property
The Voraelia name, branding, website design, photographs, graphics, copy and other original store content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view the website for personal shopping purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative commercial materials from our protected content without permission, except where the law permits.
When you provide personalization text or other material, you confirm that you have the right to ask us to reproduce it and that it does not unlawfully infringe another person's rights. We may refuse content that is unlawful, abusive or otherwise inappropriate for production.
12. Third-party services and links
Parts of the store may depend on third-party services such as Shopify, payment providers, postal or courier services, and other technology providers. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not make us responsible for content or services that we do not control.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase. These Terms are intended for consumer sales and do not remove remedies available to you under consumer protection law.
14. Events outside reasonable control
We are not responsible for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event materially delays an order, we will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and will communicate with you where appropriate. Your legal rights in relation to significant delays remain unaffected.
15. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, available through the store footer.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to a purchase is normally the version in effect when the order was placed, unless a change is required by law or you agree otherwise.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in another part of the United Kingdom or another country, you may also benefit from mandatory protections under the law of your place of residence, and nothing in these Terms removes those protections. Any dispute may be brought before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.
18. Contact
